The Riverside Museum in Glasgow is the first major building in the UK completed by Zaha Hadid Architects. The design was chosen as winner of an international competition, completed in 2011. Both the structure and façade constructions for the museum are unique. The museum is clad with a zinc standing seam triple curved form, supported by a wide alternating portal frame. The museum accommodates transport exhibits and is a major tourist destination in Glasgow .
