Criterion Place consists of two residential towers of significant height, with mixed use accommodation in the lower podium. The towers have been described as ‘kissing’ as they appear to touch in the middle. The scheme is clad in a unitised glazed façade system, and required a unique façade replacement and cleaning strategy.
The scheme aims to provide accommodation and a public space to gather in Leeds city centre. The podium includes hotel, office and commercial space, with residential provision above providing wide-ranging views across the City.
The project was the winner of an international competition for the site, with the intention to transform the Leeds City skyline.
